What happens in an appointment?

If wax is found, we can remove it immediately for a fee. If not, we conduct a thorough ear assessment, which may include:

• Full ear history

• Examination of both ear canals and eardrums

• Explanation of how ears work (age-appropriate)

• Advice if Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ETD) is found

• Guidance on ear skin care

• We can also offer Tympanometry if appropriate and advice on techniques/manoeuvres to improve ear functionality (This is an optional extra costing £10)

• Recommendations on ongoing ear care to keep wax at healthy levels
